Our History

Founded in 2015 by Dr. Lori Montella-Slocum, PharmD, a lifelong resident of Old Forge, the pharmacy was born from a deep understanding of what this town needed: personalized, patient-centered care without the corporate feel of big chain pharmacies.

After spending over 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Montella-Slocum witnessed firsthand how personal connections were often lost in larger retail settings.

She envisioned a different kind of pharmacy, one where customers were greeted by name, medications could be customized through compounding, and prescriptions could be delivered right to their door with free local delivery.
